A private residential commission. The client wanted to transform a dated master bathroom into a daily retreat — warm, calming, photo-worthy without trying to be.

Bathrooms are the most decision-dense room in a house — fixtures, lighting, ventilation, vanity scale, mirror proportions, hardware finishes — every choice compounds. We anchored this project in a quiet material palette of warm taupe stone and walnut, then let natural light do the work the design didn't need to.

A small footprint became a daily retreat. Warm taupe stone meets soft walnut cabinetry, with a soaking tub set against a window framed in natural light. The space reads as quiet, not minimal.
“Every morning I feel like I'm somewhere I chose, not somewhere I inherited.”
